Stylianos Stylianidis

I’m a painter and photographer based in Bordeaux, France.

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, this city along with hip hop influences, marked a lot my debut in art. I started spraying graffiti around the age of thirteen years old.

When I graduated from high school, I went to Bordeaux to study applied arts in order to become an industrial designer but decided to divert to illustration and digital arts instead.

After finishing with my master I decided to explore and travel around Europe looking for inspiration and life experiences.

I finally decided to focus more on traditional painting and analog photography. I’m also experimenting with new mediums like linocut or go extend my art beyond the traditional canvases and making murals.

I find inspiration everywhere I go, the ocean and its waves, the surfers and the lifestyle, the Mediterranean sea the sun and the sweet careless life of this place, the woods in France with and it’s mystical vibe, getting lost in nature, going to raves and colorful parties or other personal moments preserved in my memories.

I want to make the spectator travel through my artworks, feel the vibe and the energy I put into it in order to recreate the moment.
